Information about the prophets in The Old Testament

ADAM: He lived in Eden, was the first man to live on earth.
NOAH: He built an Ark. He, his family and two of every animal entered the Ark.
ABRAHAM: Showed obedience to the Lord by his willingness to offer his son (Isaac) as a sacrifice.
MOSES: Led his people out of bondage in Egypt. Lived in the wilderness for forty years. The Lord revealed to him the 10 commandments.
SOLOMON: He built the temple in Jerusalem and was known for being wise.
SAMUEL: He heard the Lord’s voice and answered “here I am.”
DANIEL: Because he continued to pray he was thrown into a lion’s den.
JONAH: While inside a whale, he learned the importance of obedience to the Lord.
ISAIAH: He prophesied of many things that would happen in his day and in the future. He told of Christ’s birth and His death.
JACOB: He had 12 sons and his name was changed to Israel.
MALACHI: Prophesied that in the latter-days Elijah would turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to the fathers.
MELCHIZEDEK: Abraham paid tithing to him. He was called the King of Peace.
DAVID: As a young boy, he slew the giant, Goliath.
JOSHUA: Led the children of Israel into the Promised Land.
ELIJAH: Brought down fire out of Heaven to defeat the priests of Baal.
