Pioneer concentration game
(by Mary A Vance)

I’m going to do a sharing time with a concentration game.
I have 2 pictures of a ship, an Indian, a lady cooking, a bone, a 2001 calendar, a horseshoe, a buffalo, and a music note.

When the find the match of the ship, I will tell a story of one of the ladies that emigrated from Europe to join the saints.
For the Indian, I will tell how the Indians helped the pioneers.
For the lady cooking, I will tell how the pioneers cooked and what type of foods they ate.
For the bone, I will tell about how they left "mail" in the trail for the following groups to find.
For the calendar, I will tell a story about a girl who is a pioneer now with her friends and family.
For the horseshoe, I will tell about the games that the kids used to play.
For the buffalo, I will tell about some experiences the pioneers had with the buffalo.
For the music note, we will be singing a pioneer song.

I also have other pioneer songs incorporated in with some of the other matches.
