Baptismtowel
(by Idoxray)

We just started a new idea in our ward.
A mother called wanting to know if a towel would be provided for her daughter at her baptism.
We couldn't find out the answer, so we decided to write the daughter a personal letter, and attach it to a new white towel that has been tied together with white ribbon.
We explained in the letter, that as she comes out of the waters of baptism, this beautiful white towel represents how everything she has done wrong in her life has been "washed away." And that she can start anew.
And every time she uses the white towel, it will remind her of how she felt as soon as she stepped out of the waters of baptism.

We decided to use this idea for all of our children who will be baptized. It is simple and the towel does not have to be expensive.
