Friendship fudge

 

2 cup of packed brown sugar
2/3 cup of evaporated milk
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1 1/2 cups of chocolate chips
1 cup of crunchy peanut butter
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
Butter or margarine to grease pan

 

  1. Butter one 8 inch pan and set aside. 
  2. Take a saucepan and mix brown sugar, evaporated milk and salt in it.
  3. Cook over low heat and stir until boiling. 
  4. Boil for 3 minutes. 
  5. Remove from heat and stir in chocolate chips, peanut butter and vanilla. 
  6. Mix until smooth. 
  7. Pour fudge into pan. 
  8. Refrigerate 4 hours or until firm. 
  9. Cut into squares.
