| Towel for Mothers day (by Jill in Utah) |
The week before Mother's Day we are having our music leaders practice Mother's Day Song for all of Primary.
The Presidency is pulling out one class at
a time with their teacher and taking the class to the kitchen and putting each
child's handprint on a towel.
If there are more than one child
per family, we will put all their handprints on one towel.
We are
using wood paint from the craft store and hand kitchen towels we bought at
Sam's Club.
We are typing up the handprint poem and putting in on a
card and then rolling the towel up and and tying the card onto the towel with
ribbon.
Some of this will be done at home.
On Mother's Day we will have class
presentations and then give the towels out at the end.
All the women
teachers are to go to Relief Society on Mother's Day and the Dad's get to fill
in.
