A picture reminds me I am a child of God
(by Cindee Andrus)

I am going to bring some pictures of the children's parents when they were little.
Then have the kids guess who parents they think they are.
How did they know?
Often we look like our parents. List physical traits we inherit from our parents: eye/hair color, etc..
We also are children of our Heavenly Father.
How do we know this?

Display First Vision.

Read: Gen. 1:26-27 We learn in the scriptures that we were created in Heavenly Father's image

Read D&C 130:22 That He has a body of flesh and bones

Sing: I Am a Child of God

I am going to bring in a ladder with a picture of the earth on the bottom rung, and heaven on the top.
Heavenly Father promises that we can have an inheritance in His kingdom is we do certain things.
Each rung in-between will have a scripture reference on it, (which we will discuss briefly) and on the back it with have the song that goes with the reference.

I have changed a couple of the songs from what was suggested, because our primary doesn't know the others.

Sr.
After they have read the scripture we'll write on the word strip what we need to do to receive our eternal inheritance.

Jr.
Hang pictures on the wall, one for each scripture.
Sing a song and let them guess what they think is important.
Refer to pictures on the wall. Which picture goes with the scripture.
