Luke/Matthew Cookie Review A great Christmas Family Home Evening activity! |
Make plain sugar “cut-out” cookies in various Christmas shapes:
Invite each person to take one large cookie or a couple of small ones, to put them on their paper plate but not to eat
them.
Then ask them to find at least two scripture from the four chapters (Matthew 1 and 2, Luke 1 and 2) which would describe their cookie(s).
They may choose what the cookies represent (i.e.: gingerbread-women could be Mary or Angels or Elizabeth; the gingerbread-men shepherds, Joseph, wise-men)
They could then frost and decorate their cookies.
