Old Testament Object clue game

Obtain the following objects and place them randomly around the room before FHE begins. Next to each object clue, place a number (usually on a sticky note) from 1 to 25. Then each person numbers a blank sheet of paper 1 through 25, and they walk around the room trying to match the clues with the scriptures. Some of the clues could fit more than one scripture, so sometimes this becomes a game of elimination. My kids usually really enjoy this (especially the first time out when they have to figure out the "tricky" ones)!

  2. MOSES 7:18 A wooden craft heart with the number "1" on it or a foam "We’re Number 1" hand that is used at sports events
  3. ABRAHAM 3:22-23 Ruler
  4. GENESIS 1:26-27 Barbie & Ken or Play-Doll
  5. GENESIS 39:9 Soap with "morals" written on it
  6. EXODUS 20:3-17 Instruction Manual
  7. EXODUS 33:11 Quiet game that has an outline of a face on it, and then a magnetic wand is used to move lead shavings around on the face to create hair, beard, etc. (I can’t remember what this is called!)
  8. LEVITICUS 19:18 Sheet music/copy of "Love One Another" or Hymnal with "Hymn 308"on the outside
  9. DEUTERONOMY 7:3-4 Wedding Invitation (preferably a temple wedding)
  10. JOSHUA 1:8 Picture of person doing yoga or a daily scripture reading chart
  11. JOSHUA 24:15 CTR ring
  12. 1 SAMUEL 16:7 Mirror
  13. JOB 19:25-26 Rubber worms
  14. PSALM 24:3-4 Rubber hand
  15. PROVERBS 3:5-6 The backside of a dollar bill (where it says "In God We Trust")
  16. ISAIAH 1:18 White sheet of paper or red material & wool
  17. ISAIAH 29:13-14 Lipstick or the book "A Marvelous Work and a Wonder"
  18. ISAIAH 53:3-5 Picture of Jesus
  19. ISAIAH 55:8-9 Globe or picture of the earth
  20. JEREMIAH 16:16 Fishing pole or rubber fish
  21. EZEKIEL 37:15-17 Two sticks
  22. DANIEL 2:44-45 Crown (probably from Burger King!)
  23. AMOS 3:7 Picture of President Hinckley
  24. MALACHI 3:8-10 Tithing slip
  25. MALACHI 4:5-6 Genealogy sheet or a glue stick
