Hinckleys 6 Be’s Mother/daughter night
(by Mary Halvorson)

This activity was original an evening in Relief Society, but it can easily be adapted.

After a lesson about Hinckleys 6 BE’s, I want to share with the sisters the cute way to remember the six BE’s using your fingers. (Posted earlier)

1st mini class: "The Six B's Sampler"
We will be stitching the sampler of the six BE’s and letting the girls color a sampler on paper that I have put together. We have purchased inexpensive frames and they will be able to take them home finished!

2nd mini class "Book Reviews"
Those who want to "stitch and lesson" can also sit on our book review.
We are asking three RS sisters and one primary girl (Young Women) to share a book that ties into these subjects.

They will each have only 10 minutes and we will have a variety.
One will be President Hinckley's book focusing on the chapter about gratitude. Another one will be a young child's story and maybe something that young mothers will be able to take home and use in a FHE lesson.

The primary girls (Young women) will pick something interesting to that age group and so on. We haven't chosen all of the books yet but want a variety.

3rd mini class "Sweeten your food storage with Honey"
We want to share ideas on storing and using honey and demonstrate some cooking ideas.

This will probably be the treat for the night. We want to make honey candy and let them pull it.
