You are your best visual aid
A
song is a wonderful kind of thing
So lift up your voice and sing
Chorister took hands and used them in a lifting motion
Chorister turned hands over and lighly pressed down (we sang softer)
She flip flopped between these two motions and we had to watch her to know which way to sing

Boyd K Packer – replace negative thoughts with positive music ~ Hum your favorite hymn
Music can give you courage and peace
Story Friend Jan 1989 Megan lost in Korea- begins singing I am a child of God and Korean little girl comes and begins singing in Korean, takes her to her mother who helps Megan find her parents
Music enables us to express spiritual feelings that we may have difficulty expressing through the spoken word. Elder Boyd K. Packer said that “we are able to feel and learn very quickly through music....some spiritual things that we would otherwise learn very slowly”
Church hymns and Primary songs teach gospel principles. You can use them in almost any lesson to introduce or summarize an idea. Primary songs allow children to bear their testimonies simply and beautifully.
