For Sharing Time this week I have Made an apron with many pockets (9 to be exact). You can buy a plain apron at a craft store and sew (or glue) on 9 pocket in different fabric. In the pockets I'm putting various pictures of temple blessing.
- Young couple getting married in temple (talk about being sealed together forever)
- A picture of a family (talk a bout families being sealed to each other)
- A picture of Jesus Christ (talk about how we can feel his spirit and recieve inspiration)
- A smiley face (talk about how we can feel joy and peace by attending the temple and having our families sealed to us)
- Heart (talk about the love we feel for Heavenly father, family, and others)
- Picture of baptism (talk about baptism for the dead)
- Picture of angels or maybe holding hands (talk about temple work for the dead so those people can be linked, sealed to God)
- Rose to symbolize beauty ( talk about the beauty of the temple for all to enjoy)
- A picture of the Prophet (talk about the prophet can receive inspiration for the church)
Then I will have a cutout of a cornucopia and explain how the cornucopia is a symbol of abundance and how we have an abundance of temple blessing. Then I will choose reverent children to come and pick a pocket. After each pocket and picture, I will talk about the picture and then place it flowing out of my cornucopia.
