Toys
in nursery

How to clean toys:
- Take the toys to the church bathroom and
put them in the shower.
- Spray down with a spray then let set for
at least 90 sec or go by direction on bottle.
Sisters there are a lot of them on the market ... what is best is what fits
the budget and that you do it)
- Rinse with hot water.
If you make it easy enough to do often then less scrubbing...
- then put them in a basket that has a sheet
in the bottom of it folded to drain them of water.
I do the same thing with the larger toys.
Which leads to the subject of toys....
- Sisters and brothers if it can't be washed
it does not need to be in the Nurseries.
- Since you already have been working at
cleaning the toys this would be the time to get rid of those toys that are
not working out in the Nursery...
(without hurting people's feelings :)
Donate them to a worthy cause or to a family that might need them for
Christmas.
Safety factors require that the toys be
cleaned.
Community toys:
When more then one ward meets in the building
what to do? What to do with those community toys?
Some solutions I have heard of are:
- Last one meeting cleans the toys and
because every year the wards change meeting times a new ward does this job.
- Have no community toys clean your own...
:0)
- Get the YW and YM to clean the toys ever
so often for one of their service projects or even your cubs or achievement
girls.
