We have decided to start our year's theme off with an activity that will let the kids understand what organizations make up our church.

We have asked these members to speak:

• Bishopric: to tell us what are his responsibilities and about missionary work,
• RS pres talk about what RS does and why it is important,
• Elders/High Priest, what they do and why it is important,
• YM & YM presidents can explain what they do and about the kinds of scouting, camps, crafts and activities the youth plan.
• The Ward clerk will explain what he does,
• The librarian will say her 2-bits,
• The missionaries will talk about the baptismal font,
• The custodian will talk to the kids about the importance of keeping the church clean and what the kids can do to help.

They will keep it short and sweet and maybe a little 'hands-on'with a few of our stops (scrapping gum off chairs may be a good one).

We will be travelling in little tour groups around the church to the various rooms where they will recieve their instruction in our 'church field-trip'.

And then, of course, treats (we thought about green jello, but figured rice crispies will be less work and clean up)
