Make a fishing pole with a
dowell and string with a magnet tied on the end. Numbers 1-13 were written
on separate fish-shaped cards with a paper clip on each so the magnet would
"catch" them. When they caught the "fish", the
had to recite that article of faith.
A different version of this could be to have
the numbers of cards on the floor and when they tossed the bean bag, they had to
say the article of faith that the bag landed on.
A third version can be played with an egg
carton.
You write numbers 1-12 randomly in the 12 compartments, making the lid number
13. The children toss a small ball and recite whichever number it lands on.
Another version can be made using popsicle
sticks. Write numbers 1-13 on
the end of each stick and place them number-side down in a can. They
recite whichever number they choose out of the can.
