In our ward (before I was the chorister), they used a digital camera to take pictures of our bishop engaged in activities matching the words of the song, enlarged and laminated them to posterboard. 

I think when they first learned it then had to put the pictures in order while repeatedly singing the song;

Now that they know it they start out with them in the right order. 

For practice singing now the leader can hold and flip them, instead of having eight volunteers or whatever.
