I found out while searching at www.lds.org that in the scriptures Christ is referred to by over 200 different names. First off, I am going to ask the children if they have nicknames. I'll tell them some of mine. Then I am going to have several (many) slips of paper with the following scriptures on them to discover the many sacred names of Jesus Christ.

I will pass them out at the beginning and have everyone look up their scripture all at once to save time and then we will read the scripture define the word or name and talk a little about each one so that I can touch on the theme that because Jesus is the Savior we will have eternal life.

In Jr. sharing I will have to adjust because they some can't read. Maybe I'll read some and their teachers can help also. Here are the scriptures I am using:
