How to give a talk (shared by Terry)

This is notes from a training meting in Rapid City by Sister Matsumori of the Priamry general board.

She talked about a quote in the handbook that mentions spiritual rating used for materials by the church.

She gave a good outline for giving a talk that the children can use and help them when they are on their missions.
She listed 4 steps:
  1. Read a scripture
  2. Explain the meaning
  3. Use a personal story to expound
  4. Bear testimony of the truth of the pricipal.
She told us that every missionary could stand up and give a talk on any subject, unprepared and all. I agree, it will be a great tool to tech the children, and to use myself.
