Teach five essential things that we each can gain a testimony of: 

1. Heavenly Father, 

2. Jesus Christ, 

3. Joseph Smith 

4. the Book of Mormon, 

5. the Restoration, and the living prophet. 

Prepare a copy of the song “I Am a Child of God” (CS, 2) to represent a testimony of Heavenly Father.

Select pictures of the following from the GAK or thePrimary manual picture packets to represent the otherfour things: 

• Jesus Christ, 

• Joseph Smith 

• the Book of Mormon, 

• the Restoration (for example, a temple), 

• the President of the Church. 

Divide the children into five groups. Give a child from each group one of the pictures to hold up for the Primary to see, but do not let these five children see the pictures. One at a time, have the children holding the pictures guess what their picture is by asking their group questions that can be answered with a yes or no. 

Discuss these things we need to gain a testimony of and sing corresponding songs from the CS.
