Ask the children to name blessings we receive from Heavenly Father. 
As they name blessings, write them on the chalkboard. 

Sing “Thanks to Our Father” (CS, 20). 
Emphasize that everything we have comes from Heavenly Father. 

Ask the children to name several ways we can thank Him. Then show President Gordon B. Hinckley’s tithing message from the videocassette Sharing Time with President Gordon B. Hinckley (53331) or the February 8, 2003, “Special Satellite Broadcast for Children” (see also Ensign, May 2003, 117–19). 

Teach the principle of tithing and explain that paying tithing is one way to show gratitude for our many blessings. Invite the bishop to share his testimony of the blessings of paying tithing and attending tithing settlement. 

Sing “I Want to Live the Gospel” (CS, 148).
