Prepare paper cut-outs that can be put together to form a home, such as a roof, walls, windows, and a door.

Prepare a case study for each cut-out, in which the children must decide how to honor their parents.

Divide the children into groups and give each group a part of the home and a case study to solve. Have the groups take turns sharing their case studies and their solutions and adding their cut-outs to a chalkboard or poster to build the home. 

Sing songs from the “Home and Family” section of the CS. 

Teach that as we honor our parents, we are strengthening our homes and families.
