Teach that our bodies are sacred. Give each class an envelope containing the letters of a word or phrase, such as:

• rest

• exercise

• alcohol

• tobacco

• pure thoughts

• drugs

• healthy food

• modest clothes

• good music

• tattoos.

(When two words are included in one envelope, clip the letters of each word together.) Display Do and Don’t signs on the chalkboard. Have each class glue the letters of their word or phrase in order on a strip of paper and display it under the appropriate sign. 

Turn over the Do sign to reveal a picture of Christ, and have the children recite the scripture for this month. 

Sing “The Lord Gave Me a Temple” (CS, 153). 

Invite a panel of Primary leaders to share appropriate experiences and their testimonies of keeping our minds and bodies pure.
