Ask a child to try, with the supervision of a leader, to lift a chair holding just one of the legs.

Ask a second child to hold a leg of the chair and, with the first child, try to lift the chair.
Ask two more children, each holding a leg of the chair, to lift the chair with the other two.

Ask, "What does this teach about every family member helping?"

Taking turns, have  several children demonstrate or draw a chalkboard picture of work they can do in their families.

Have the other children guess what is being demonstrated or drawn.
