I learned this in seminary many many years ago.  I can't believe I could still remember it!

 

  1 Sun - No other gods (we have one sun so we should have one god)

  2 Zoo - No graven images (there are statues at the entrance to the zoo do not worship those or anything else)

  3 Tree - Do not take the name of the Lord in vain (vaines in the tree leaves)

  4 Door - remember the sabbath day to keep it holy (the church door)

  5 Hive - honour they father & they mother ( like in a bee hive all the bee's honour the queen bee)

  6 Sticks- thou shalt not kill (sticks could be a weapon)

  7 Heaven - thou shalt not commit adulty (if you do it you can't get to heaven)

  8 Gate - thou shalt not steal ( if you do you go to jail and jail is like a gate)

  9 Line - not bear false witness (if you lie you fall off the straight line)

  10 Hen - not covet ( your neighbor my have the best hen, but don't want it)
