Using songs from “The Savior” section of the CS, sing a story of Christ’s birth (see “Music with Narratives,” TNGC, 174–75).

• Display GAK 216 and read Matthew 19:13–15.
• Discuss with the children what it might have been like to be a child when Jesus lived on earth.

Sing “I Think When I Read That Sweet Story” (CS, 56).

• Then display GAK 322 and have a group of older children read 3 Nephi 17:11–12, 21–24 together (see “Choral Readings,” TNGC, 163).
• Discuss what it might have been like to be in the group that Jesus blessed.

Sing “Easter Hosanna” (CS, 68–69).

• Finally, display GAK 238. Have the children stand, and tell them they are today’s children.
• Discuss what it might be like to be in the presence of Jesus Christ.

Sing “When He Comes Again” (CS, 82–83).
