Have a child read the title page of the Book of Mormon.

• Ask why the Book of Mormon is called “Another Testament of Jesus Christ.”
• Ask, “What is a testament?” (A witness.)

Explain that nearly half of the verses in the Book of Mormon mention the Lord, Jesus Christ, or some other designation of the Savior.

• Assign groups of children to search in separate books in the Book of Mormon to find verses that mention or teach about Jesus Christ.
• Invite each group to read one of their scriptures aloud while you list it on the chalkboard.
• Have the children find and read 2 Nephi 25:23 and Mormon 3:20–22.

Help the children understand how these verses bear witness of Christ.

Sing the second and third verses of “On a Golden Springtime” (CS, 88).

Bear testimony of the Book of Mormon.
