With Back to
School happening this next week in
Idaho, we are doing a FUN song time

TIME—Back to School Theme
Back to School
Review:
Have a yellow #2
pencil for each child.
Prepare six pencils that have
numbers on them.
Have each child pick a pencil until
a child picks one with a star.
Stop and do the activity and sing
the song.
BOTH GROUPS
Write a clue for each
of the songs to review on teeny pieces
of paper, the width of one of the
"sides" of the pencils, then tape them
on to the bottom section of the
pencil.
Put the pencils in a pencil holder and
let every kid pick a pencil.
Go row by row. If they don't have a
pencil with a clue, they still get to
keep the pencil.
If they do have a
clue we stop there, figure out the song
and sing it.
Use the thermometer (adjusted
with D, C-, C, C+..up to A+

Geography—Holding Hands Around the World
Jr—A song that talks about something that is
NOT your feet.
Sr.—I have 10 digets on two of these.
Reading—Scripture Power
Jr—Something that rhymes with HOUR
Sr.—It gives you strength
History—Book of Mormon Stories #118
Jr.—Song about scripture people that lived
long, long ago!
Sr.—Ancient History—gotta love it!!
Science—I love to Look at Rainbows (Baptism Song) #103
Jr—Watch for this if it rains and the sun is
shining
Sr.—Refraction of light results in color
Math—Search, Ponder and Pray (1+1+1=Blessing) #109
Jr—Three things we need to do when we read
the scriptures
Sr.—Add these three things together when you
read scriptures
Class Rules—Follow the Prophet #110
Jr—In school we listen to our teachers…but in
