Music "Instruments in the Hands of God" Mosiah 27:36
-"I can be an instrument by using Primary music to build faith in the Lord Jesus
Christ." They talked about how Young Women/men were asked what lessons they
learned in primary and none of them could remember anything, but then they were
asked what songs they learned in primary and they listed many. Music is a very
important part of primary.
- "I can be an instrument by being well prepared and
'in tune.'" We can all be instruments in the hands of the Lord. If you are
prepared then you can be more open to the Spirit while teaching.
- "Children can become 'instruments' as they take
Primary home." They talked about how children can be missionaries, sometimes
without even knowing it. They talked about parents being converted by their
children who sing primary songs at home.
- "Primary music can strengthen us the rest of our
lives." They told a great story about a student at a University that
substituted for primary and felt the spirit strongly while the children sang
"Love One Another" (Ensign, May 2001, p. 80.)
