"I was inspired by this idea after reading the book " The Lord Needed A Prophet".

We separated the children into 5 groups (each group was named after a prophet.) We opened the activity, with all 5 groups, in our "John Taylor singing" class.

Then each group went to a different prophet class -for example:

• George Albert Smith ~ jump rope
• Joseph Smith ~ stick pull
• Joseph F. Smith ~ family home evening game
• Spencer W. Kimball ~ basketball
• Ezra Taft Benson ~ marbles
• Heber J. Grant ~ Baseball
• Ezra Taft Benson ~ Book of Mormon bookmarks
• Lorenzo Snow ~ tithing game
• Gordon B Hinckley ~ Letters (kids wrote letters to him)
• At the end we all played a prophet bingo game
