Run For It
Materials: a few papers, marker or pen, tape
Pick 3-5 scriptures from the lesson or previous lessons.
Have each of the children write one of the scriptural references on a piece of paper. You could have duplicates, but make sure there are at least one of each scripture written. Have them tape the pages around the room. (While they are doing this, you write 2-3 hints for each scripture--"A Primary song says, I will go, I will do the things the Lord commands me" 1 Nephi 3:7) Push the chairs out of the way.
Divide children into teams. Have a child stand in the middle of the room. The challenge is to see how many scriptures the child can successfully run to and tap, when a hint is read to him. As he taps the correct scripture, read another clue for another scripture.
Continue this until his 10 seconds is up. He gets a point for his team for each scripture he tapped.
