Recently, a counselor in our stake primary presidency gave a lesson about class presentations. She stood up at the front and explained how to make a peanut butter sandwich. She pointed out that is one way to teach how to make a sandwich. Next, she demonstrated how to make a sandwich while explaining how. Next, she asked her “class” (teachers who were there learning about presentations) to come up and help her while each explained their part of making a sandwich and showed how to do it. She pointed out that the final way helped the learners hear and learn from different sources and it helped involve her class. It is more interesting to have different people participating. I hope this makes sense. I think it was an effective lesson for everyone there.
